Pre-School Learning Centres and Relief Kits with Jiv Daya Foundation

Pre-School Learning Centres and Relief Kits with Jiv Daya Foundation

Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti, Amritnagar, Hazaribagh, runs pre-school learning centres and provides daily nutrition support to 125 children below six years of age, most of them from tribal and Scheduled Caste families.

Under the same project, relief kits containing 26 kg of rice and 4 kg of pulses are distributed twice every year to the 175 most needy families. The kits recently reached five villages closely linked with the project's direct interventions: Badwar, Pipcho, Jharpo, Jarga and Dewariya.

The Secretary and the entire JMJA team are actively involved in carrying out the approved project activities, and our field observations show appreciable outcomes, with young children learning and eating well and families receiving timely support.

We are sincerely thankful to the Jiv Daya Foundation for their continued support, which makes this work possible.
