'Kitchen Garden' (Covid-19 Relief Work)
Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti, in collaboration with Goonj NGO, continued its Covid-19 relief efforts. This project involved converting two small bush-covered fields into a beautiful kitchen garden. In return for their efforts, the local women were given packets including rations, food materials and other daily essentials — and the kitchen garden can be used by them to grow vegetables, providing an additional, lasting benefit.
Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti will continue its efforts to support the people whose lives have been affected by the pandemic.
