Annual Forest Fair at Dudhmatiya Village
The annual Forest Fair was organised by the local Forest Protection Committee of Dudhmatiya village, Tati Jhariya block, Hazaribagh district, on 7 October 2026. The Deputy Commissioner of Hazaribagh inaugurated the fair, and government departments and NGOs took part, exhibiting their products in the grounds.
Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti, Amritnagar, also displayed its products. Led by Secretary Indramani Kumari, the organisation distributed biscuits to more than 1,000 children. Consultant Mr. Adhin Mahto, Programme Coordinator Mr. Pramod Kumar and all five Balwadi teachers were present.
The local committee's cultural team presented songs and dances on protecting the environment, and organisations doing commendable work on climate change and forest protection were recognised.
