Food Distribution during the Covid Lockdown
The lockdown due to Covid-19 hit the poor and marginalized sections of society the hardest. The accompanying economic hardships made it very difficult for daily-wage earners to sustain themselves, as such families typically have no savings.
Doing its part in the collective fight against the pandemic, Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti distributed food and ration packets to daily-wage earners in Hazaribag, Jharkhand. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our volunteers for their contributions. We will continue to undertake various steps in the fight against the pandemic.
