Covid-Related Relief Work Meeting
Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti went to meet and discuss with different self-help groups in the panchayats of Rolla, Meru and Badasi villages. The organization is working to collaborate with Goonj NGO to initiate a combined effort to help women whose lives have been affected by Covid.
The meetings were held in the presence of Ajit (from Goonj) and Indermani Kumari (from Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti). There was a positive response to the proposed program of distributing ration in exchange for work from all the women's groups we met. Both NGOs are dedicated to taking this relief work forward.
